She was a remarkable success as a Professor of Literature in the New School’s retiree program where her classes were standing room only for years.
She loved everything French! She was a remarkable cook and a gracious and enthusiastic hostess.
Gloria had four adoring children, Leslie, Nora (Carlo), Mark (1960-2021) and John (1964-2006), and six devoted grandchildren, Melanie (Ryan), Zachary (Jenna), Haley, Gabriel, Olivia and Jadyn.
Her legacy of wit, charm, intelligence, and love is an enduring gift to all.
