Dear Marguerite, Your mother and mine met as room parents at John and Paul when you were in 6th grade and my older sister in second grade! Your wonderful father died the year (1975) before my mother (1976). I will always be grateful for the important and caring role your mother played in my life. She was so proud of you, your children and of course her great grandson. She was a remarkable woman in so many ways. I will miss her dearly. We are very sorry to hear about Ray's passing. She was an elegant and wonderful woman. I knew her from the Woman's Club of Larchmont as well as through The Larchmont Yacht Club, especially the Theatre Guild, and talking to Ray at events and in the Club. May she Rest In Peace. Anne-Mieke Smeets.

Dear margarita and family, So sorry to hear your mum and my friend Ray has passed away. Was my card with Monet’s garden still in time for her to see? I met Ray through” at home on the sound “. We had long talks about Europe, sailing, Larchmont, and life in general. I did visit her at the Osborn. She left me newspaper clippings. Her poor hearing must have been hard for her. I think of her with great fondness. All the best. Renee de vries. Holland.
