I remember with great fondness my memories of Mr. Reilly's gym class as well as his adult basketball program. It was during the latter that I got to know him as a person--and it was quite an honor to do so. My belated condolences to Beth and the whole family. Gary Klein '83

On behalf of the 9 Myrtle Carr family, we all send our condolences. For me, Mr. Reilly was like 2nd dad, driving me to hockey practice (with my friend Brad) at crazy early hours and setting up a all sorts of activities for me and Brad to exercise our competitive muscles. He exuded a calm, caring and fun presence. I’ll always remember him mowing the lawn, drinking Dunkin’ Donuts coffee and patiently letting Brad and I debate who was better, the Rangers or Islanders. A solid man with a warm heart. Rest In Peace Mr Reilly.

I was so saddened to hear of Mr. Reilly’s passing. He indeed was a wonderful teacher but more importantly a lovely, kind man. Please know you are in my prayers. Mr Reilly…we had a love hate relationship from 7th grade to 12th grade. You always challenged me to be the best. I questioned your methods but the results were always positive. You never forgave me for choosing basketball over wrestling…and when I returned home you would try to beat/rough me up during those Monday Night games. MHS was very fortunate to have you. My condolences to family and friends.
