Obituary of Laura Anne Mac Naughton

MacNAUGHTON - Laura Anne 72, died on May 11, 2021 at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital of a cerebral hemorrhage, with her sisters Ruth and Amy at her side. Admired and revered member of the arts and crafts community. Attended Wheaton College in Norton, MA. Enjoyed multiple careers: fashion, administrative positions with Manhattan financial firms, jewelry design. Laura was beautiful, brilliant, funny, intellectual, loving, artistic and sweet. Voracious reader. Avid and knowledgeable art museum visitor. Loved the theatre, Shakespeare above all, especially Macbeth and Hamlet. Laura leaves, besides her sisters, her longtime friend and partner Lou, her cousins, devoted friends, Inwood neighbors, former work colleagues and an army of fans among the customers of the beautiful jewelry she designed.
