Dear Ruth,Spence,Amy and Lonnie,
Thank you for the kind words and card that we received from you about a week ago. I had not been aware of Laura's passing. Kimberley and I were so sad to hear the news. Laura was a shining light at CastleRock and she touched so many of us with her joy and kindness. Even thinking of her now brings smiles to our faces.
Laura was important to me and my family not only in a professional way-and she exemplified grace and class in everything she did-but her willingness to help me in any personal way was deeply appreciated by my wife Kimberley and our 3 children. She did so many big and little things that made life easier and happier without ever seeming to make an effort. For her it was a pleasure to help other people.
She will always be remembered as such a special person who brought light into the world. And she will always be in our prayers.
With all our heartfelt condolences,
Kimberley and Paul Tanico

Sorry to learn of Laura’s passing. I remember how excited I was learn that the cousin of my new sister-in-law, Alice Hubert Gardner was at Wheaton. I was a junior when she arrived as a freshman, and I regret we lost touch after I graduated, except for an occasional update from Alice. Rest in ☮️
