Obituary of Juan A. Soto, Jr.

Juan Antonio Soto, Jr., Juancito, 40 years old, passed on to his final peace on November 3, 2020. His final days were spent in his childhood home surrounded by his parents, Diana and Juan, and his brother, Alex. Juancito’s life was far too short. He touched many lives with his playful sense of humor and his professional dedication. He always made everyone around him feel comfortable and a little happier for knowing him. Juancito was born on May 12, 1980 in Hoboken, NJ. Most of his schooling was in Larchmont and then he went on to study Hotel Management at Johnson and Wales. His diverse career started in hotel management in different hotel chains and ended with his being director of Education and Training at Pizza Patrón. He moved to San Antonio, Texas with Alissa Mathis Soto and their daughter, Lilliana. He enjoyed reading, playing video games, traveling, and spending time with family. Juancito is survived by his parents, Diana Cartagena and Juan Soto, his brother Alexis, his daughter, Lilliana, his grandmothers, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends here and Puerto Rico. Visiting is Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at John J. Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont (Only 62 persons are permitted in the funeral home at any given time. Everyone must wear a mask and social distance) Funeral service on Saturday is for family members only In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
