Juan was such a kind, happy, friendly person in middle and high school. And years later, when I saw him at our 20-year high school reunion, I was struck by how warm and resilient he still was. I will keep his beautiful spirit in mind and send my deepest condolences to his family.

To Don Soto, we’re going to miss you very much my friend. To his family and friends, We worked together in San Antonio and even though his office was down the hall I could still hear your whole conversation and your contagious laugh lol. Always humble, going out of your way to make everyone around you feel comfortable even sometimes at your own expense. Thank you for being a friend to our kids Israel and Mathew and finding ways to relate and talk to them. Thank you for being a friend to my wife Marisol. You came into our lives when we were new comers to San Antonio and made our lives instantly better. To his family, you raised a wonderful son and should be proud. He was a proud dad and was very quick to share a story when felt proud of Lilly which was often. Our family will miss hanging out with you on weekends. Bowling nights, poker nights, video games with the kids, paintball when your bro Alex came to town or go karts with the kids. Lots of great memories that we’ll hold forever. I hope that by sharing some of our love and some of our memories that you know he was loved not only in New York but also in Texas. Just the type of person he was and the impact he had. Rest In Peace my friend.

I knew Juan from work at Pizza Patrón. Juan always had the best energy. Always smiling and telling the best jokes. He was one of the first people to speak to me when I got hired with the company and made me feel very welcome. Despite his hardships he always managed to make others around him happy. My sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends.

I just want to start by giving my condolences to the family! I used to work with Juan years ago in Manhattan....he was an amazing person and can light a room with his laugh and smile. I’m shocked and sad to hear of his passing. The world is a sadder place without him. Rip Juan.
