Obituary of Jaime Alain Certilman

Jaime Certilman, age 56, passed away on August 26, 2020 with his sister at his side. He was born March 3, 1964 to Evelyne Aronin and William Certilman. He was a graduate of Scarsdale High School and Skidmore College. Jaime recently retired after a decades long career with Hartford Insurance, where he was beloved by his coworkers for his quiet brilliance and his willingness to always offer a helping hand. Jaime loved being in nature and had just begun to settle into retirement at his home near a lake in Pocono Pines, Pennsylvania. He especially loved to dote on his dogs - Billy, Harley and Baby Girl. He cared deeply for his family. He was the person who always reminded his family that it was important to take a moment to celebrate each birthday and wedding anniversary, and to commemorate family members who had passed. He is survived by his mom and step-dad, Evelyne and Julian Aronin, his siblings, Babette Certilman, Michele Greenburg (Ross), Betsy Aronin, Martin Aronin, Alexandra Kay (David) and Marissa Zackowitz (David), and his nieces and nephews, Brad (Julia), Rachel (Matthew), Benjamin, Ethan, Caroline and Noah. A private burial service will be held at Sharon Gardens in Valhalla, New York at 1pm on August 28, 2020. Funeral is private
