Obituary of Stephanie F. O'Keefe

Stephanie Fitzpatrick O’Keefe, 91, of Larchmont, New York passed away July 5, 2020, after a short illness. Stephanie was a proud graduate of Georgetown Visitation and The College of New Rochelle. She was first and foremost a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. Stephanie delighted in the success of those she loved. She was a competitive tennis player well into her 80’s, attended Mass daily, and was a fierce bridge player. Saint Augustine said: "How blessed we are to be able to whisper, as sad as we may be, thank you, Lord, for the life she had and the gift she was." She was preceded by her husband Raymond and is survived by her children Michael (Emily); William (Catherine); Ann Bave (John); Kevin (Erin); Mary O’Neill (Michael); James and John; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; as well as her two sisters, Ann Eno and Joan Firmat. Stephanie believed in the power of prayer, fellowship, and doing the next right thing. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to High Watch Recovery in Kent, CT. Burial will be private and a Memorial Mass held at a later date. The O’keefe family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday October 9th from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated after the visitation at 5:00 PM at St. Augustine Church in Larchmont.
