Saturday, August 3, 2019So sad to learn about Helen's passing. There is solace in knowing she did not suffer long. It is impossible for me to believe that Helen was 87 years old. To me she was forever young and strikingly beautiful. As a kid, I thought she was glamorous and always so stylish! She had an amazing smile that lit up the room. She carried her grace, beauty and vitality into her golden years. I know she was much loved and will be deeply missed. My thoughts and love to her daughters, Patti and Pam - and to all those who knew her and loved her.

She emanated such beautiful energy and kindness, and was always there for everyone. She will be missed. Please know I am thinking of you both, and send you my love and condolences. Barbara

Wednesday, July 31, 2019Dear Pam and Patti, So terribly sad to hear this news. Sending our thoughts and love to you both. I remember your mom from my earliest memories. She was larger than life to me. When I was a little girl, I thought she was Doris Day. I remember how gorgeous she was with her 60s "Mad Men" look, stretch pants, peter pan collars and pointed flats. Her deep sexy voice and amazing blonde hair, and beautiful smile. She was the epitome of the times. In those days growing up was so different than now, as we had our houses in a safe little community where we could play on our various lawns, with Nannie and Emily watching over us. I know my 100 year old mom will have great sadness over this. Patti and I were trying to get them together this spring. I send you much love. I know how much you loved her. She will always be remembered as the great mother and lady that she was.

Wednesday, July 31, 2019I have known Helen since I was a little girl on Orienta Avenue. She was one of my favorite neighbors and our family friend. I always loved Helen’s big hugs, warm greetings and soft cheeks. She was such a wonderful and incredible person. She will be missed. Just yesterday, my sister Elizabeth told our 100 year old mom (Roz), that Patti wanted to get the mothers and daughters together this summer. :( My deepest condolences to the entire family. With warmest love, Shari Finger Fredericks

For several years she and I have enjoyed our weekly game and each time we greeted each other whole heartedly. I will miss that big smile - rest in peace and know that you made Fridays at noon a lot of fun. love, LucyPe6RH
