I knew John only from working part-time with him at MONY in Manhattan in the early sixties. He was a modest, hard-working, polite, really nice guy, and he always wore a suit. Very sorry to learn of his passing.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of John Zampino, our cousin through marriage. He was a fabulous person and I watched him play football at Fordham Prep in my teen years. He was a great fullback! He was also our tax attorney for many years and a stalwart friend and highly competent attorney and financial advisor. He helped our family greatly. John and I worked back and forth with various clients and he was always a pleasure to work with and a real gentleman! We loved him greatly. My wife and I send our heartfelt condolences to John's family at this time of grief and loss. We will cherish his memory forever. George Ranalli
