My dear friend Musya,
You, Ortwin, Lynn, and your two wonderful schools will always live in my heart. You and I have been friends for so many years.
We sat through so many board meetings, enjoyed so many meals together, wrote a wonderful joy filled book, collaborated on new projects, cherished each other's families and works. Where did the time go? Somehow the last few years flew by, and I moved far away. But you have been, and will always be, one of my dearest colleagues and dearest friend.
Do you remember those shopping trips to NYC's China Town searching for child-sized dragons for the Chinese New Year Parades at our schools? All those trips to rumage stores seeking the perfect things for the classrooms and the book?
We've had some grand times together, and I am confident that we will gather together once more someday, and plan our next adventures. My goodness, you are a grand soul, my dear friend. You are always with me, even though you're now the one who has temporarily moved even father away. I'll look for you and Ortwin when the time comes. Please keep the strudel warm and ready.
