Obituary of Joan M. Adams

Joan M. Adams, a longtime Larchmont resident, passed away peacefully at Calvary Hospital on September 28th, 2013. Joan was born on January 29th, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY to Henrik and Isabelle Pedersen and was raised in the Bronx, NY. On September 14, 1957, she married Edmund W. Adams. She is survived by her son, William, her brother Roy Pedersen, sister Dorothy Stockham and many loving nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Joan was predeceased by her beloved husband, Eddie and her dear sister, Arline Clair. The family will receive friends at the John J. Fox Funeral Home, Inc. in Larchmont on Tuesday, October 1st at 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Mass of Christian Burial at Saints John and Pauli in Larchomont at 10 am on Wednesday, October 2. Internment at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Venture Foundation (25 Smith Suite 515, Nanuet, NY 10954) or the Calvary Fund (1740 Eastchester Road, Bronx 10461).
