Obituary of John P. Medvec

John P. Medvec, long-time resident of Larchmont, NY, passed away in White Plains Hospital on March 31, 2013. Born in Yonkers, NY on September 14, 1931 to Helen Hayduk and Joseph Medvec. Loving husband of Eileen Medvec (nee: McDonnell), beloved father of Peter and Jane Mackey (William). He is survived by his brothers Albert and Steven Medvec, his sister-in-law Winifred Nixon and many nieces and nephews. Adoring grandfather to Christopher, Thomas and Catherine Mackey. He was pre-deceased by his sisters Agnes Medvec, Helen Longo, Josephine Franz and his brother Joseph. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, John served during the Korean War. Visiting Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at The John J. Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont. Mass Friday 10 AM at St. Augustine Church in Larchmont. Interment at Beechwood Cemetery in New Rochelle.
