Dear John, you were a terrific brother-in-law and took loving care of my sister for almost 54 years. You were very good to my mother and brother and gave me very good advice. I will miss you very much. It will not be the same visiting Larchmont without your there. Have a Happy in Heaven and know me and my children will think of you often. Love, Winnie

Late in life, Uncle John was hard of hearing. So when he spoke, he yelled. In restaurants, family would get very nervous over this. Personally, I loved it. "GET ANYTHING YOU WANT! I'M BUYING!!!" That was Uncle John...loud and loving. Neptune Cafe will not be the same without him.

Uncle John was great! He was fun, uplifting. I only knew him a few short years, but truly loved him and his great personality. He enjoyed life and loved his family. I already miss him. May he have fun in Heaven. Uncle John, I will NOT forget you, and I will take care of Jean Marie.

Uncle John will always be remembered as the dearest, most loving Uncle for both of us.My Mom would smile with such warmth and joy each time she spoke of him, and I remember so many family gatherings where Uncle John was laughing and joking with all of us. He will be in our hearts forever!
