Obituary of Gloria O. Amorosi

AMOROSI, Gloria Ortolani, 87 of Tamarac, FL, formerly of Larchmont and Montauk, NY. A woman of elegance & wisdom, and formidable force in Jeopardy and Scrabble, died suddenly in the Florida sunshine she loved on Feb. 15. Daughter of Angelina & Francis Ortolani of Brooklyn, NY. As a proud graduate of St. Joseph's College for Women, Gloria was always the teacher of facts and life lessons. A dedicated wife for 32 years to her late husband Leo Joseph Amorosi, she is survived by her 5 devoted daughters Joanne (Martin Ketels), Carolyn (Rick Rothseid), Janet (Robert Deagan), Elise (Thomas Tague) and Lorraine (Anthony Nowakowski); and loving 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
