To my Amorosi cousins and their families, your mother was so very dear to me. A true lady in every sense of the word and a loving aunt. She was always encouraging and enjoyed life to its fullest. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Dear Janet and Family,
I will always remember Gloria's laughter and radiant smile. She was the brightest light in a room....warm and vivacious with a sense of humor and kind words for all. No one told a story quite like Gloria. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers embrace you and your family during this difficult time. I wish you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and cherished memories to hold forever in your hearts. May her light shine upon you and your family and guide each of you safely through life's path.

Some years ago, I called my Aunt Gloria to say hello and chat awhile. I asked her "how are you doing"? and she replied "I'm still buying GREEN BANANAS". I laughed and said "what do you mean, still buying green bananas"? She said "well I'm feeling optimistic that I'll be around to watch them ripen". We both laughed and since that day everytime I call her or she called me, I'd ask "How are you doing" and she'd always answer "I'm still buying green bananas" and we'd both laugh. I will allways remember her spirit and her optimistic attitude and I'll think of her every time I see or buy green bananas and watch them ripen. I love her and will miss her dearly.

To my beautiful grandmother,
I want to take this time to let you know how wonderful you have made my life just by being in it. Although I will miss you very much, I can look back on our time together and smile. You were there for some of the most important times of my life and I will forever be grateful - my brother's birth, holidays, birthdays, helping my family when my dad was sick and my college graduation. You were always there and I think that's what i am going to miss the most.
One of the most important life lessons you taught us all was the value of family. I have been so blessed to be apart of such a strong, loving family. You have raised five amazing daughters who are truly a reflection of what a wonderful person you were. I grew up with not just one wonderful mother but four amazing aunts looking over me.
My mom told me that you re-read the Montauk paper that I wrote a few years ago. I am so happy that I was able to let you know how special Montauk has meant to all of us. We have shared so many memories there that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Thank you for being the most wonderful grandmother a girl could ask for. You have taken such good care of everyone over the years and we appreciate everything. I love you more than words could every say and I am going to miss you so much but I know that you will always be with us. Also, I wanted to thank you for the Valentine. I just got it. My mom told me you got ours too :)
Love,
Crissy xoxo

To my dear friend and neighbor, Gloria, who I will miss every day. Gloria was our Florida condo "Social Director" who would make us scream with laughter telling her jokes - never ever forgetting any punchline!! I feel blessed to have known her.

I remember your mother from much earlier days; even then, she was a force to be reckoned with!!! I am a Scrabble nut so I guess I would've had some good times with her. My own mom loves Jeopardy, so I wish we'd have lived closer so we could share all these family favorite games!!

Dearest Aunt Gloria,
We're going to miss your laughter, your vibrant smile, your quick wit, your loving arms and warm, generous heart. We're so very glad that we've been able to spend so much time with you, enjoying your company... and even being soundly defeated by you in that memorable game of Trivial Pursuit! A mind like a steel trap! Thank goodness for that. For even though we've lost you - our memories will always be of you in your prime. That's a gift you gave us to see us through this most difficult time. You're in our hearts forever. Love, Joan and Ihor

You were our rock and our whole world has fallen apart since you have left us. But we will be strong because that is what you would have wanted and expected of us. We will rebuild our lives with the loving memories of you in our hearts. Knowing you're with us will make us stronger. We love you and will continue to do so for all of our lives.
