I will always remember her smile and laugh. One of my favorite Aunt Nancy memories: several years after I moved out of Manhattan, I was visiting friends in the city just before Christmas. We were walking near Rockefeller Ctr to catch a glimpse of the tree on our way to dinner and were in a sea of people on the sidewalk — a totally NYC Christmas tourist mob. I heard a familiar voice in the crowd saying “excuse me, I’m trying to get to the subway” … and it was Aunt Nancy! I recognized her voice immediately! She hugged me, apologized for being in a hurry, and quickly ran down the subway stairs. It was hilarious and very on brand! Will miss that sweet lady.
