My son-in-law, Michael, will be remembered for his love of family, both his wonderful wife, Joanna, and his children, Riley and Aidan. His devotion to family was exceptional. He was always around to help Ken or me. He will be terribly missed, and I feel so sadly for my daughter and grandchildren. RIP Marge and Ken

I was lucky to spend a tailgate season with Michael behind our griddles. He taught me quite a few things and told me some great stories. He had a fierce love and pride for his family. Damn good man may you rest in peace Michael.

I was lucky to have met Michael about 40 years ago and my life, like others who had the gift of knowing him, was richer and brighter for having had him in it. Michael had a (mostly - smile here) quiet presence but you always knew when he was in the room. He was a solid, good person and dependable friend who always lived with high integrity. My heart is with all who are sharing in this loss, there are a lot of us.

I am so very sorry to hear about Michael's death. I did not know him well, but saw him quite often out with the dogs and he was always friendly and kind. May his memory be a blessing.

We’ll always remember Michael as a dedicated and devoted father with enormous pride for his beautiful family. We first met as sideline parents on sport fields. Michael showed sincere compassion and support for every player, on and off the field. He was the quintessential guy you wanted on your side. He was a loyal and kind friend and our hearts go out to the French family.
