I'll remember Liam's quick wit, contagious laughter, and warm energy. My dad, his cousin John, often told tales about growing up with Liam and the Brennan kids. While we only saw each other a few times a year, it was always a delight. Liam's innate ability to effortlessly weave humor and kindness into every interaction ensured that everyone felt immediately comfortable and at ease in his presence. Liam's sweet, silly nature and infectious laughter could bring levity to even the darkest moment. Though Liam no longer walks among us, his spirit remains alive in the countless hearts he touched along the way. Sending love to Laurie, Aunt Patsy, Maeve and the rest of the Brennan clan. May his loved ones find solace in shared memories and may his legacy of love and laughter stay with us all!

Liam had a benevolent and impish sense of humor. He was the only person I ever met who could impersonate Popeye. Never without his harmonica, he could jump in with any band and enhance their tune. We had just reconnected at our fiftieth high school anniversary. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. Sending Big Love to Laurie, Patsy, Maeve, Niall, Teague and all his relations.

I miss my funny, sweet, caring Cousin Liam. So sad, but I am laughing when I remember the silly 4-year old who told me when he grew up he wanted to be a "rootin' tootin' cowboy".

So sorry for your loss...my favorite memory of Liam was when our parents allowed the two of us (at 14 years old) to ride our bikes from Mamaroneck to Sheffield, MA. It took us two days to complete the ride. We camped overnight in a church cemetery in Kent, CT. We were completely on our own with no such thing as a cell phone (not invented yet) to stay in contact with anyone. It was awesome. Thank you Liam for the great memories. RIP. I must be the luckiest person in the world to have had Liam as my dad. He was not my dad by birth, but he was my dad by choice, and I think that's even more special because he was under no obligation to stay by my side through all of my many ups and downs for the past 40 years. Liam taught me everything I know about being kind, working hard, keeping your word, rooting for the underdog, and never half-assing anything you do. He taught me all about birds, how to sweep a floor, how to put air in my tires and how to do a Popeye voice. He instilled in me a love of music, nature and humor, and he showed me by example how to maintain a sense of gratitude and childlike wonder even when things seem to be at their worst. I don't know who or where I would be if I did not have Liam as my dad. He was one of the few purely good people on this earth, and I feel so fortunate to have so many memories of him that I will carry with me forever.

Beautiful tribute to Liam, Amy! You really nailed it, describing him perfectly. The pictures are great! Im so sorry for your enormous loss! My heart goes out to all of the many people who will have a hole in their hearts for Liam.

Memories of knowing Liam from when we were younger growing up on Myrtle Blvd. all through our school days will always have a special place in my heart. Never an unkind word, his always present smile with infectious laugh & zest for life left an impression on all that were lucky to meet & know him. He’s surely an angel now & already jamming in a Heavenly group of musicians. You will be missed my friend, my only hope is that you knew how much you were loved by so many.
