Bert was very wise man with a great sense of humor who always made you feel very welcome . He was very kind and gentle, yet had a such a strong and memorable presence. I am blessed to have to have known him and will forever remember him. My condolences to his family for your tragic loss,

I was not lucky enough to know Bert but I do know his son John well. He possesses all the great qualities of his father from his thoughtful, kind way to his sense of humor and love of Music. I am sure Bert is so proud of the wonderful man and amazing husband John is to Ana. I wish you both wonderful memories of Bert and hope you live as long in life and love as Bert did. God Speed Bert...Rest easy that your spirit lives on in John...

Thinking of you and wishing you peace and comfort as you celebrate Uncle Bert’s remarkable life. Uncle Bert was amazing! Kind, joyful, with a twinkle in his eye and a great sense of humor! He was my uncle, my godfather, and with Aunt Bridget, a model of a life well lived, filled with family, friends and love. I will miss him so, and especially, his sweet messages in birthday and Christmas cards. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We will never forget Uncle Bert. With love, Cathy and Bill Chang
