I didn't have the privilege of personally knowing Mrs. Galletti for a long time, but you didn't need a long time to know her. She was the type of person that was transparent - in one conversation with her you felt like you've known her your whole life. The real things in life were what meant the most to her. She was kind by nature and expressed to me the deep love she has for her family. The friendship I share with her daughter Leonora dates back to our High School days in Carmel, NY. Leonora and her Mom shared a beautiful and unique bond and I am saddened for the loss that she feels, although I know Mrs. G will be watching her every step of the way with love and admiration.
