My father called her "Mickela,"and she waited on line to dance with Cuppy, along with Suzie and Tiby! He loved to swing her around, with her blonde curls flying about, and all could hear her laughter when he dipped her! Cuppy wrote in a letter to the family, while in the Marines, that he hopes Bobby and Mickie will get married! That Mickie seemed like such "a nice girl!!" The rest is history! I remember holidays as a child, with our families together, and the sweet smell of Aliage perfume that she wore back then. What a beauty she was! Aunt Mickie, you will be missed by me, Your neice, Gail.

Micki and I became close friends at the age of eleven after meeting on the school playground in Flushing. We both attended P. S. 20, Flushing High School and Queens College. We joined Young Judea together and became active as young Zionists. We went to the same parties, slept in each other's homes and enjoyed vacations with each of our families. For me, Micki with her exuberance, "opened" the doors and windows in my rather solemn home and let in the fresh air of life. Many years ago my oldest granddaughter, Ora, who was then eight years old attended a birthday for me. She had heard of Micki and wanted to meet her. After she and Micki had a conversation, Ora told me that Micki was the most joyful person she had ever met. I think she defined Micki perfectly. "The most joyful person" indeed! I will miss Micki immensely and carry with me the memories I have and our love for each other. Marion Rogovin
