I met Mary Grace at their beautiful country home in Lakeville. My memory is that she was graceful and lovely, sweet and kind.

I first saw Mary Grace at Marymount when I was a freshman and she was a senior. I thought she was the most beautiful girl in the school. I did not know her but a few years later Tony and I were at a Marymount dance and Tony and Ed recognized each other from Allstate. We became dear friends and had many memorable and fun trips with them. Even rode camels together!
When our son, Tom, was 5 or so he was trying to tell us something about the Erbachers but couldn’t get the word out. After a few trys he threw his arms up and said “You know, the Eddies!” From that day on they were always “The Eddies”
to us except when we wanted to harass Ed a bit. Then they became the “Mary Graces.”
We will always miss their love and care and friendship. Much love to Maria, Deirdre and Amy who took such good care of their mom.
