Obituary of Lorna London Curry

Lorna London Currey (91), life long resident of Larchmont born February 19th, 1921, passed away on November 10th, 2012. As many know, Ballet was her passion. She opened the Lorna London School of Ballet in 1945 and taught until the age of 86. Lorna touched countless lives, instilling her love of ballet to her students. She was admired and loved by all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed by family, and friends. She is survived by her son Douglas, his wife Lisa, Daughter Constance, Son Scott and his wife Karen, her grandchildren Kelly, Carole, James, Kristen, and Branden, and her great-granddaughter Taylor. Visitation will be held at Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont on Friday, November 30th, 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Services will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church (4 Fountain Square, Larchmont), Saturday December 1st at 1:00pm. In Lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to the National Stroke Association or American Heart Association.
