Obituary of Patricia Ann Loquercio

Patricia Ann Loquercio, aged 72, died peacefully while surrounded by family on September 18, 2022.  She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Peter Loquercio, her daughters, Katie Kessler and Alexis Sevillano, her sons-in-law, Daniel Kessler and Al Sevillano, whom she loved as her own, and her two grandchildren, Liam and Teagan whom she adored.  Her large family includes her siblings and their spouses, Dennis and Susan Waters, Jeanne and Al Coringrato, and Nancy and Jerry Belmont as well and her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Born in the Bronx, NY to Mary and Dennis Waters, she attended St. Mel’s Elementary school in Whitestone, NY and St. Helena’s High School in the Bronx, NY. She began working at the phone company while attending college at Queensboro Community and continued her career there for 30 years, while owning her own communications training company, and raising two daughters.  She retired in 2003, but was quickly convinced to rejoin the corporate world at Matrix Absence Management where she worked for a decade before retiring.

Pat’s favorite moments were spent during the summers at Wykagyl Country Club, traveling to her favorite locations of Palm Springs, Captiva Island and Scottsdale, or reading a good book anywhere.  She enjoyed gardening and loved to visit the NY Botanical Gardens at all times of the year.  The beaches of Montauk and the Hamptons, the lavender fields and vineyards on the North Fork of Long Island, and the Culinary Institute were her happy places.

The wake will be held at John J. Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont, NY. Visiting will be between the hours of 7 - 9pm on Tuesday, September 20th,  2 - 4pm and 7 - 9pm on Wednesday, September 21st. The funeral Mass will be held at St. Augustine’s Church in Larchmont, NY at 10am on Thursday, September 22nd.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pat’s favorite charity, St. Francis Breadline at www.stfrancisbreadline.org
