Laicy had such a good heart! She came immediately to our aid when our family suddenly faced a terrible medical crisis. I could barely function but knew I needed food in the house for the family and friends that were gathering. Laicy took me to the store, helped me shop then insisted on paying just because she wanted to make me feel taken care of. It meant a lot to me and I will never forget it.

I vividly remember the passion, creativity and determination that Laicy played soccer with. She was a real asset to all the teams that I coached her on. This is a sad day but her memory and the joy she brought to all of us will always be with us.

One moment we are all kids playing together in a yard and the next we grow up, go in different directions, and look forward to our new stages of life. I’ll treasure the memories we had as children and that is how I view Laicy. Sending all my love to the parents of Laicy especially my Godfather/uncle Juan. I ache for you, I pray for you, and love you so dearly.
