Obituary of Kathleen Tobin Marcon

Kathleen Tobin Marcon died peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, surrounded by her family.  She was a 63 year resident of Larchmont.

Kathleen was born on May 2, 1931. The second oldest of five, she grew up in the rural town of Kent, Connecticut, also spending much of her time at the family farm on nearby Skiff Mountain. Predeceased by her parents, Irene White Tobin and William Robert Tobin, Sr., her sister Irene Toffey and brother William R. Tobin, Jr.

Upon graduating from Connecticut Teachers College, Kathleen went on to teach in an elementary school in Connecticut.  She was married to the love of her life, Peter J. Marcon from 1955 until his passing in 2017 .  While raising their five children, Kathleen was an active participant at Sts. John and Paul Parish where she attended weekly mass, served as a Eucharistic Minister, and was involved in numerous Ladies Guild functions in support of the parish.

As a longtime member of the Larchmont Shore Club, she enjoyed many hours of bowling, bridge, swimming and tennis.  Most of all, however, she loved being with all of her family and friends.

She is survived by her five children, Elizabeth (Steven), Katie, Peter Jr. (Maura), Bill (Karen) and Chris (Louise); grandchildren Chris Carlucci (Marie), Greg Carlucci, Will Greco, Jennie Greco, George Tricomi, Molly Tricomi, Kathryn Marcon, great-granddaughter Charlotte Carlucci, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visiting will be Thursday April 21, 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at John J. Fox Funeral Home 2080 Boston Post Road Larchmont, NY 10538. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, April 22, 10:00 AM at Sts. John & Paul Church 280 Weaver Street Larchmont, NY 10538. Interment will be Friday 12:00 PM at St. John’s Cemetery 25 Camp Ave. Darien, CT 06820
