Dennis Olivier posted a condolence

I always liked Joe. I knew him as a friend and a kind and generous man who was very thoughtful of others. We played squash together for for many years and after each game we would have a chat over a pint of beer. He often spoke lovingly about his son who I got to know a little as he was a junior member of the club. I had not seen Joe for over twenty years since he stopped playing squash but have fond memories and have thought of him often and am very sad to hear of his passing . I would just like his family to know that he was loved, and will always be remembered by me.
