Obituary of Giuliana Gouzos

Giuliana Gouzos, nee Carra, ( 93 years young ) of New Rochelle New York,  passed peacefully on Christmas Eve 2021. Giuliana was born in beautiful Naples, Italy on April 22, 1928.  She lived her life to it's fullest,  her love shining brilliantly upon her family and friends all over the world.
She built a business with her husband John,  raising three boys as well as being a second mom to many of their friends.
Her smile and great sense of humor was infectious,  and all the people she met through life sooner or later would adore her.
She was always elegant and walked with a determined quick step.  She was adventurous, sailing and snorkeling, and her cooking was second to none, as many will testify. Strong willed even at the end, she will be missed greatly by all who knew her,  and they will all carry her memory and affection in their hearts forever. Giuliana was preceded in death by her second son Ioannis, with whom she will now rest as was her wish. She is survived by her husband John and her sons Takis and Fabio as well as her daughter (-in-law) Maria.
Giuliana is also survived by all those whose hearts she touched and her memory will soften the pain of her loss.
She would not want tears, but smiles from those who mourn her.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Bayberry Care Center, located at 40 Keogh Lane, New Rochelle, NY 10805.

Her family will receive friends at the John J. Fox Funeral Home, Inc. 2080 Boston Post Road on Wednesday December 29, 2021 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A graveside service will be held Thursday December 30, 2021, 11:00 AM at Greenwood Cemetery 215 North Street Rye, New York 10580.
