My dearest condolences to Ted and family. I was so sorry to hear the news of Heathers passing and my thoughts are with you all in this difficult time. I was so fortunate to have got to know and spend time with Heather - initially at Cornell and then whilst living in NYC. So many fond memories and lots of laughs. She will be truly missed.

My condolences again go out to Ted, Caroline snd Ted Jr. and Heather’s family Who I know all meant the world to heather.
I met heather 3 years ago through our daughters..she was a very dear friend to me. With my Irish accent I used to call her Heller and she loved it. she was unasumingly funny, I always knew we would have a good time when we got together.. She was also extremely kind.
When I was sick she brought me soup.,
The last time we went out to dinner 11/21 - we had gotten a new waitress who was quite nervous. Heather talked to her. Told her she was doing a wonderful job and even told the manager to go easy on her.. Yes she had a way of putting people at ease.
I will forever miss and think of the fond memories heather and I shared, but I know Caroline and Ted will carry on. her spirit..

Dear Ted and family
I am a former colleague of Heather and just wanted to say how shocked and saddened I am to hear of her death.
Heather and I worked together for many years at Accenture and she was a trusted, loyal and very generous colleague. We always looked out for each other and she was tremendous fun to be around.
There are not many former Accenture colleagues I remained in contact with, but Heather was up there with the best of them. I can’t believe she’s gone but I am sure her loyalty, good humour and kindness will live on in Caroline and Teddy.

I first met Heather when we worked together at IBM and then we continued our friendship during our stint at Accenture and beyond. She was always a wonderful confidante and I deeply enjoyed our weekly chats. I loved Heather’s dry sense of humor. I will miss her deeply. My heart breaks that she is gone. Bye my friend. Heather drew me in 25 years ago with her awesome sense of humor and her throaty chuckle. Heather was guided by her strong moral compass and high principles, but she accepted people (like me) without judgement. She had a special brand of down-to-earth wisdom peppered with brilliant jokes. She made me laugh and she taught me to stop looking back, and to focus on the future. She always took things in stride and when the going got tough in her own life she was the model of stoicism and bravery. Heather's modus operandi was positivity and patience.
Heather was a marketing pro who kept a low profile. 20+ years at one firm. Ivy League educated. She was talented, smart, hard working, she had a fantastic career. You may not know that about her because she never tooted her own horn. She was so humble, she would just laugh at this whole tribute thing and tell me to have another glass of wine.
Heather’s heart was her children, her home, her family. She married her best friend, she created a family unit of friends. She was the most wonderful mom, so laid back and respectful of her kids. And so natural with all kids. She poured her energy into creating a beautiful life for her family. Heather was a role model and her spirit will live on in the lives and memories of all of her family and friends. No words can express my sadness for Ted, Teddy & Caroline’s tremendous loss.

I met Heather while we lived together at Cornell. Heather was my best friend. She had an amazing wit, and she could make people laugh hysterically. Everyone loved her and had more fun when she was around. Anyone that I introduced to Heather, wanted to spend more time with her. She was so perceptive and had a way of recognizing situations for what they were and bringing humor. At my baby shower, Heather noticed some guests were not being nice to one of my high school friends and she quickly befriended the girl, made jokes and put everyone at ease. Heather was incredibly generous in all ways. She was always entertaining and helping others to have a good time. During my first trip to John’s Island, we unfortunately didn’t overlap the full week , but on her last day there she made sure to introduce me and my kids to people who they would end up spending the rest of the week with. After college we would meet every Sunday at JG Melons and share our stories of the weekend. Heather was the nicest, most compassionate person, and I could tell her anything. She was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. I am going to miss Heather every day. My heart aches for Ted, Caroline and Teddy.

I hired Heather into my Marketing team at IBM many years ago and was so impressed with her work and personality that I offered her a new role when I moved companies (to Accenture) a few years later. She was a star on our team and wonderful person, with a huge heart. About 15 years ago my brother in New Zealand died in an accident and, in her most generous spirit, Heather donated some of her unused Annual Leave to me to enable me to spend an extended period of time in New Zealand, to be with Andrew’s children. I was so touched and thankful for her generosity and never forgot that moment. Even though we hadn’t connected in person for a few years we kept in touch online. I am so sad to hear about Heather’s passing and my heartfelt condolences go out to her family. Her spirit lives on. Susan Scott-Ker

Heather was such a bright light, she always made me smile with her quick wit and one liners. The truth is she made me laugh, she could have been a stand up comedian. She was also the nicest person I knew. One hot August day she invited me and my family to the dock for a swim and to enjoy the view. When I arrived she was entertaining a mom and her 3 kids who she had just met on the town tennis courts. Heather had been helping Caroline prepare for tennis tryouts. (Heather was a star athlete in High School). She befriended this family and in true Heather style, invited them over for an afternoon of water sports. When I arrived she was serving everyone snacks and drinks as the kids all splashed in the lake. She was in her element making others happy. She was in heaven that afternoon and I know she is there now (she would contradict me, but we all know the truth!) All my love to Ted, Teddy and Caroline. Heather was a very special person!! xxo.
