Obituary of Michael William Kane

Michael William Kane, born and raised in Larchmont NY. Son of Peter and Evarista Kane passed on Friday, November 12, 2021 after a tenuous struggle with vascular dementia.  Throughout his disease he remained dignified and stoic with his wonderful wife Barbara Kane at his side. Michael was a devoted Catholic whose faith persevered throughout his life. His son, Patrick Cox Kane, grew into a fine young man just like his Dad. He is survived by 3 siblings, Kathleen Molito, Joan Coughlin and Peter Kane.  Michael had a passion for NYC life enjoying fine dining and the many benefits of living on Park Ave for over 25 years.  He had a knack for Real Estate and was a prominent  developer in Jersey City during its heyday.  Michael enjoyed his clubs ; Larchmont Yacht Club, New York Athletic Club and the Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club.  He was drawn to the water and would have retired to the Gulf Shores of Florida had God not taken him.  He left this world with the Blessed Sacrament and forever a place in our hearts.  God rest his soul, he is at peace.  Know that you will be missed and that you were loved.
