Obituary of Vivian S. Frommer
Vivian’s entire life was marked by compassion for others as exemplified by her loving devotion to her family and to her volunteer service to worthy causes focused on improving the environment, education, alleviating poverty and homelessness, defending democracy and civil rights and conquering disease.
Vivian’s entire professional career was similarly dedicated to helping others, including work as a grade school teacher and for several charitable organizations.
In her free time, she particularly enjoyed folk dancing and nature activities such as canoeing and birding.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, and is survived by her three sons, Scott, Laurence and Robert and two grandsons, Kyle and James.
