John Gamba may not be my blood grandfather, but he was the only one who made sure to send me birthday/Christmas cards, and give me calls just to check up on me while i was growing up. Whenever i would visit New York, and i would get a chance to see him, he would have the biggest smile and hugs for me. That meant so much in my upbringing, and it is a fond memory to remember him by. I miss and love you, grandfather. Until we meet again.
