My wife and I are deeply saddened to learn of Steven’s recent passing. We both have been patients of his since the early 1990’s when we relocated to Bethesda. He was an outstanding dentist to whom we have remained loyal even after we retired to the Eastern Shore in 2004. More to the point, he was such a congenial person with a finely honed sense of humor, such that we actually looked forward to our three-times-a-year visit to the dentist. All this, even as he maintained a cheerful demeanor while struggling daily with the ravaging consequences of cancer. Beyond Steven’s outgoing personality, he often revealed his devotion to his family and pride in their accomplishments. We just wanted you to know how much we admired him and how much we will now miss him. We will keep you and your family in our thoughts during this difficult time of loss.

I was so sad to hear of Steve's passing. I worked for him years ago when he ran the Local 25 dental clinic. He was not only the best boss I've ever had, he was a teacher and friend. My condolences to the family, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

I was truly sorry to hear of Dr. Janowitz' passing. I send my heartfelt condolences to his family. What a wonderful man; what a beautiful soul. I came to know him in his practice and I couldn't say enough wonderful things about him. In his field he was an artist; but being among the finest of human beings was his greatest of accomplishments.
