Obituary of Julia M. Taibi

Julia M Taibi a long time resident of New Rochelle passed away Monday July 30, 2012. Julia was born in New York City and moved to New Rochelle with the true love of her life Ralph, her husband of nearly 50 years. In the years after Ralph's passing Julia's daughter Barbara became the center of her life. The dedication to Julia's welfare and happiness was the hallmark of Barbara's uncommon devotion to her mother's love. Julia was also nourished by the love and kindness from her son in law and friends and neighbors. Julia had a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Master's degree from Hunter College. Julia was born with special gifts to teach grade school children. Julia dearly loved the children she taught over the decades at Davis School. When Julia was out and about a week did not go by at a store or shopping mall when some one came over to say hello to Julia and recall in year's past when they reveled in her class. Julia loved nature and animals and her devotion to animals truly nourished her life. Mom, I love you more. Her family will receive friends Thursday (Today) 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont. A Mass will be celebrated Friday 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church in Mamaroneck, NY. Intermit will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson.
