My deepest sympathies to all of you, Chris' family, at this very difficult time.
Chris was very special, she was glamorous and elegant, friendly and outspoken. She always encouraged us to do and to be all that we could be. She wore many hats, as a mother, a grandmother, a sister, an aunt, and friend and colleague. She was my BFF at work, but she was much more than that, she was a true friend. She seemed to know and understand my world so well. She would often drive me to the train station, and she would drive like the wind - because she knew what it meant to make it to the train on time and to be there for our kids. Everything she did in life, she did it with passion and joie de vivre! She made a mark on this world and in our hearts. We will miss her dearly.

A chance meeting with Chris & Kat on 2nd Ave, at Mole, a Mexican restaurant. We also called Rich Loeffler (a young Xylem Strategy Fellow, also living on the UES), who came running to have the chance to hang out with Chris in the city!
