Obituary of Catharine Blakemore

Catharine Rundlet Blakemore was born in Larchmont, New York in 1907. Her father, Charles T. Rundlet, built the house in which she lived for all of her years. Catharine was a graduate of Bennett College in Millbrook, NY. She married Dr. Arthur H. Blakemore and became an active homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother. She travelled extensively with her husband, was a member of the Junior League, and was the Secretary of St. Faith's House. Catharine passed away peacefully just days before her 105th birthday, having lived a full, happy, and active life; and until the end was bright, cheerful, outgoing, and interested in everything that was going on around her. She is survived by her son, Rundlet, and granddaughter, Beverly.
