Obituary of Richard Abramson

Richard Abramson of Larchmont, New York, passed away on September 16, 2019, at age 76.  A resident of Larchmont for over 30 years, Richard and his wife Sara were known in the community for their home accessories store, Bridges, which was located on Palmer Avenue, Larchmont.  Richard, a veteran of the United States Army, is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sara Abramson.  He is also loved and missed by his daughters Erica Cordrey (Christopher) of Florida, Aly Harris (Chris) of Hartsdale, NY, and Carrie Feig (Jon) of Glencoe, Illinois.  He was a loving grandfather to Nathan and Alexa; Meghan, Jack, and Padraig;  and Mira, Josh, and Jacob.  He is also survived by his sister, Bobbi, of Long Island.

The funeral service will be held Friday, September 20, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at John J. Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 2080 Boston Post Road, Larchmont, NY.  Interment to follow at Sharon Gardens Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.  Shiva will be observed at the Harris home 51 Marion Ave. Hartsdale, NY 10530.  Comforters are welcome on Saturday night from sundown until 9:30 p.m., and then Sunday and Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Minyan service both Sunday and Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
