It is with great sorrow that I am sending my condolences on your recent loss. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I and would like to share a scripture that has benefited me and many people in time of grief. God reassures us of something wonderful in the Bible at Acts 24:15. It says, "There is going to be a resurrection." Along with God's promise to us at Revelation 21:3, 4 of sorrow, death, and pain being done away with permanently.
It is my hope that this bit of information is of comfort to you. Please be sure to find further information regarding the resurrection at: JW.ORG
May God be with you.

I am so grateful for having known Lorraine since 2000 when I joined the faculty of Salesian High School.
Lorraine was a consummate educator who not only mastered her subject matter and conveyed her knowledge to her students; she was also a caring and valuable mentor and support system for many of our boys.
Lorraine and I served terms on the Salesian board of trustees. We shared very deep and meaningful conversations over many wonderful lunches. As petite and disarming as she appeared, Lorraine was no one to underestimate. She was resolute, very clear about her values and expectations, determined and deeply committed to living life to the fullest, but completely on her terms. What a role model for all to emulate!
She never missed a birthday and the card that came with it. Every September, she sent me a very sincere note of support to my family and me as that dreaded anniversary of September 11 approached. I will never forget her kindness and compassion at that time of year to my family and me.
We have truly lost a shining star. May she rest in the peace of the Lord and may her spirit continue to bless and guide us.
My sincerest condolences to Toni, Cynthia, Lorraine, Kathryn and her grandchildren.
