Obituary of Angelina Forti

Angelina Covino Forti of Larchmont, died peacefully on April 5, 2012, in Greenwich Hospital after a brief illness. She was born on August 18, 1928, in Port Chester NY to Nicola & Costanza (Resigno) Covino. Along with her siblings Connie (Bisignano), Emma and Nicolina, she grew up on Willow Street and attended local schools. She graduated from Port Chester High School. She proudly attended all of her high school reunions and enjoyed seeing her childhood friends. She was employed with NY Telephone Company. On June 15 1952, she married Dominick James Forti, Sr. in Holy Rosary Church. She is survived by her loving children, Andrew, Donna and Janine. Grandchildren Derek (Toni) Famulari, and Jon-Kyle Koenck. Sons-in-law Angelo & John; sister-n-law Teresa Foti-Speziale, brothers-in-law Dominic Ciccone and George Fowler. She was precedeced by her husband Dominick & son Dom Jr. and sister Concetta Bisignano. Visiting Monday and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at John J. Fox Funeral Home, Inc. in Larchmont. Mass Wednesday 10:00 AM at Sts. John & Paul Church. Interment at Beechwood Cemetery in New Rochelle.
