I’m late to add this. Sheila was a shining star. My second Sheila….next to me mum, but she always treated me like her child. I miss her dearly. She was caring and even helped me out of a tree when I got stuck. I love you!

So very sorry to hear of Sheila's passing.
She was so warm and welcoming when I first visited the US on my own about 20 years old. She invited me to stay during that Easter Break and made me feel part of the family, which I never forgot.
The second time we met was when I re-visited with my husband and eldest son nearly 10 years later. She again welcomed us all and made us feel at home (even with a small toddler running around) and it felt as if those 10 years hadn't even passed.
Love to Michael and the rest of her family & friends. I am sure she will be very much missed.
you are in our thoughts

Sheila and Mike were the first friends I made after emigrating from England way
back in the late 50's. Loved Sheila's wicked sense of humor and they were always the life of any party. When I moved to another State, my brother and his wife Chris became close friends with them. Sheila was full of life and fun to be around. I will always remember her. She will be missed by all who knew her.

I met Sheila& Michael shortly after my husband & I arrived in the USA in 1958 which was the start of a long friendship. Sheila & I had children around the same time, we often exchanged ideas & advice. Sheila decided one day my name was too long so she shortened it to Chris, I've been chris ever since.
Our families spent every Thanksgiving & Christmas together for many years, Sheila & I always managed to burn the topping on sweet potato dish, it became a standard joke between us for years to come. Sheila taught me how to make Yorkshire pudding over the phone one day when I was desperate & had no recipe.
Sheila was a clever fashion designer and always had great parties, she was a wonderful hostess. Our families vacationed together in Gloucester Ma., it was always fun & full of surprises.
I will miss her wit & phone calls reminiscing about wonderful old memories.
Deepest sympathy with sincere condolences to Michael, Chris, Sarah & their families. Much love to you all. Chris Jones
