I worked for Nat at Cunningham in 1976. He was the kindest boss I ever had. I really enjoyed working for him.Many years later in 1993 I would see him in our office building lobby at 200 Park. Always great to see him. I am sorry he is no longer with us.Truly a great guy.

Nat was a good neighbor who kept me current on Colonial Av news and always had some funny bit of neighborhood history to share. I enjoyed meeting him on his daily walks for regular updates. I’ve missed seeing him out and about and will miss his neighborliness. My condolences to his family and friends.

Dear Betsy and Heather, I was so saddened to hear of your dad's passing. We go way back to 1968 when he hired me as an account exec on the Colgate and Beech-Nut accounts at Lennen & Newell Advertising. He was a terrific boss -- articulate, bright, and a man of tremendously good heart and humor. Living in Rye not that far away from Larchmont, we stayed in touch. My wife Degen and I socialized with him and Betsy many times and always had wonderful evenings together. Nat kept in touch after we moved to Florida, and his Christmas phone calls were a better gift than any greeting card or email. You can be proud of the many friendships your dear father nurtured and kept over his deservedly long life -- blessed immeasurably by you both. May he rest in peace. Dave Sayer

My father was Harry Ross and I had the pleasure to observe the friendship that Nat and Harry enjoyed. Nat is a role model to me on what it takes to be a true friend. I thank him for the pleasure he brought into my father’s life.

Betsy and Heather- I was saddened to hear that your dad had passed away. He has always been a presence in my life. The best we know, he and my dad were cousins but I think they shared a bond more like that of brothers. I enjoyed staying connected with him through annual Christmas cards- sharing pictures of our families over the years. He was so proud of you. Such a kind and gentle man.
