Obituary of Mary I. Carpino

Mary I. Carpino of Larchmont and New Rochelle passed away peacefully January 25, 2019 at the age of 97. Born in Plattsburg, NY. Mary was a graduate of Oneonta College. She was a dietician at New Rochelle Hospital, a 60 plus year member of American Legion Auxiliary in Post 347, a member of Catholic Daughters and worked for Salesian Mission in New Rochelle for many years. She was also the great great granddaughter of the 21st President of The United States, Chester Alan Arthur. Mary was predeceased by her beloved Husband of 60 years Frank Carpino. She is survived by her devoted daughters Jackie (Joey), Linda (Keith), the late Alice and Mary (Steve). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Mary was an amazing woman, she will not be forgotten by those lucky enough to have known her. Visiting Monday January 28th 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the John J. Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 AM in the funeral home.
