Obituary of Lillian Guilbert

Lillian "Lilly" Guilbert (nee Case) age 96, of Rye Brook, NY, formerly of Larchmont, NYpassed away on Tuesday, December 25th. Lilly was born on July 22, 1922 to Philip and Lillian Case. She lived in Larchmont, NY for 49 years before moving to Rye Brook. She is survived by her loving children, Germaine Sullivan (husband, Paul), Carol Gelfer (husband, George), adoring grandchildren Paul Sullivan III (wife, Barbara), Cristin Sullivan Uhle (husband, Tom), Sean Sullivan (wife, Jennifer), George Gelfer Jr. (wife, Sandy), and Colin Gelfer (wife, Anne).Great-grandchildren Isabella, Jonathan and Matthew Sullivan, Aiden and Dylan Uhle, Hannah and Nora Sullivan, Annie, Jack, Fred and June Gelfer. She is predeceased by her husband Robert, her parents, and brothers Paul Case and the Rev. Msgr. Vincent T. Case. Mrs. Guilbert was Deputy Village Treasurer for the Village of Larchmont for most of her twenty-five years with the Village of Larchmont. It was a happy and rewarding career that she totally enjoyed. Her fondest memories were the times she spent celebrating holidays and events with her family. She was a woman of deep faith. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Augustine Church, Larchmont, NY Friday December 28 10:00 AM. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
