Just found out about Loren’s passing back in 2018. So sad. We spent a wonderful 2 years with him and Pilar in Cuenca, Ecuador and was able to visit them in New York. My deepest simpatía to Pilar. Un abrazo bien fuerte. Joel

I'm so shocked to just now learn or Loren's passing. I was an intern at TRF in 2008 and have since gone on to a successful career in international development thanks in great part to the passion I developed while at TRF. Loren was an inspiration and I will always admire him greatly. Until we meet again, Loren! Rest easy.
