Obituary of Michael Philip Weinstein

Michael Philip Weinstein, February 1, 1949--September 10, 2018. Born to Edward Weinstein and Marian Karpel Weinstein, graduated from Yonkers High School, proud alumnus of the University of Virginia, law degree from Brooklyn Law School. As young attorney, worked on Clean Water Act, cleaning of the Arthur Kill. Career as NYS atty for Health Dept., Albany, until he retired in 2012 to Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island. Devoted to his family, Michael is survived by his son and daughter Eric and Britania, his daughter Jessica Humphreys, three grandchildren, his sister Jane Boris Brandes, and beloved by his nieces Elisabeth, Samantha (predeceased) and many cousins, and lifelong friends. Graveside service at Sharon Gardens Cemetery in Valhalla, NY at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 13. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date in Albany, NY.
