Obituary of Katherine K. Meyers

Katherine Kirk Meyers, a Westchester County native (most recently of Larchmont and New Rochelle) passed away May 2, 2018. She is survived by her sons James and Jeffrey; mother Janet Kirk; and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Deborah Wikse; husband John Meyers; and father Richard Kirk. Born in Munich, Germany, on August 31, 1955, Kathy was primarily raised in Chappaqua, NY and attended Horace Greeley High School. She then graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Skidmore College (1977) with a degree in political science. She began her career as a paralegal at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, quickly transferring to Manufacturers Hanover (now part of J.P. Morgan Chase) to pursue a career in commercial banking. While working in the financial sector, Kathy obtained an M.B.A. in finance from NYU's Stern School of Business. She remained at Manufacturers Hanover until her retirement in 1994. Services will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, May 17, at Larchmont Avenue Church. Funeral service May 17, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Larchmont Avenue Presbyterian Church.
