What an honor to meet both John and Kitty Aresty. MR Aresty called the Hispanic Resource Center to offer his support at a Difficult time in our community. His support helped move the organization into what today is a full fledged community organization, the CRC. It was such a pleasure to discuss our work with the Arestys who had real interest in understanding the need and the work of the organization to meet those needs. Mr Aresty was a remarkable human being who impacted all those who knew him and the extended community. He will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences to Kitty, Peter and Rosanne, Steven and Skye, Ruby, Lark, Charles and Eve

I had the privilege of knowing Mr. Aresty specifically in the context of his extraordinary generosity to the former Hispanic Resource Center of Mamaroneck & Larchmont. Back in our early days, Mr. and Mrs. Aresty singularly allowed the HRC to fulfill its mission of assisting low income and new immigrants to our community. Without the generous and caring nature of Joe and his lovely wife Kitty, the HRC would not have survived, nor would it exist now as the Community Resource Center. Mr. Aresty has helped thousands of complete strangers. They, and especially our board of directors and staff are eternally grateful for all that he accomplished in a small part of a world that will be less bright without his presence.
