Obituary of Pierre Allocco

Pierre "Pete" Allocco passed away peacefully at home in Wilmington, NC on March 2, 2018, at the age of 74. He is survived by his wife, Janet (Spinosa), and children, Andrea Allocco Howard (Nigel), Barbara Allocco Achrane (Hicham), and Amy Allocco (Brian Pennington). He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Victoria, Isaiah, Immanuel, Sophia, and Dante. He is preceded in death by his brothers Salvatore and Carmine, as well as his parents, Olga and Gaetano (Guy). Pete was born on December 7, 1943, in Brooklyn, NY. He is a veteran of the United States Navy, having served in the Naval Air division. He was an active and dedicated member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Wilmington, NC and volunteered for many years along with Janet at their social outreach, The Sister Isaac Center. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 9th from 2-5 and 7-9 PM at John J. Fox Funeral Home, 2080 Boston Post Rd, Larchmont, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 10th 10:00 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 18 Cherry Ave, Larchmont, NY. Interment at Calvary Cemetery in Queens, NY to follow.
